Grant Application Review for Police

Let our Experts review your grant application prior to submittal.

GAPS offers professional grant review service to Police Departments looking for an expert second opinion on their grant application prior to submittal. Our staff are experienced Federal and State Peer Reviewers who annually make recommendations for funding nationwide. This expertise provides a great advantage for agencies wanting to improve their chance of grant award!


We will thoroughly evaluate your grant application against specific criteria required by the Notice of Funding Announcement and offer detailed feedback, provide constructive criticism and make suggestions on how to strengthen your proposed narrative and budget. Your application will be measured against typical Federal and State reviewer metrics.


GAPS will provide the grant review assessment in two formats: We will arrange a phone call with you to explain our recommendations to strengthen your application; followed by a written report. The purpose of the dual format is to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of the proposed improvements and the best opportunity to incorporate the information into your application.


How the Process Works


  1. Purchase a Grant Review by clicking the link below. You will hear from us within two business days. Select either Federal or State Grant Review.
  2. Send your grant narrative, proposed budget and the proposal guidelines to admin@gaps.network (format should be Word, Excel, or PDF)
  3. When the grant review has been completed (within four business days of receiving the grant documents) we will contact you via email to arrange a phone call. This will be followed up by providing a written report. 


Pricing is flat rate as follows:

Federal Grant Review - GAPS Member $240 / Non-Member $300

State Grant Review - GAPS Member $160 / Non-Member $200
